One Championship has been forced to scrap its July 29 event in Surabaya, Indonesia, due to “logistical issues.”

According to a release from the Singapore-based promotion, the card has been “postponed until further notice.” Further specifics regarding the cancellation and a possible reschedule date were not given. One Championship “Conquest of Kings” was expected to be headlined by a flyweight championship clash between reigning champion Kairat Akhmetov and Adriano Moraes.

One Championship’s previous seven visits to Indonesia had all taken place in Jakarta. July 29 would have marked the organization’s first trip to Surabaya. The promotion is expected to return to Jakarta on Sept. 16. According to the release, One is planning four additional events for Indonesia in 2018, although dates and cities were not revealed.

One Championship’s next event, “Kings and Conquerers,” is set for Aug. 5 at Cotai Arena in Macau, China. The card will be headlined by a bantamweight championship tilt between Bibiano Fernandes and Andrew Leone.
