According to KSW Sports Director Wojsław Rysiewski, the Swedish representative Nunes didn't supply his medicals on time and missed the deadline to arrive at the fighter hotel on fight week. KSW officials were surprised to read a text from the fighter in which Nunes wrote that we wouldn’t come.
London based Polish fighter Parobiec (13-7-1) accepted the short-notice engagement with Prado. In his last fight, Parobiec pushed Chi Lewis Parry all the way to a draw. The Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Prado made his KSW debut early this year with an impressive TKO win over Chris Fields at KSW 44. Since leaving the UFC, the 30-year-old has gone 6-1.
KSW 45 takes place on Oct. 6 at The SSE Arena, Wembley, and will feature a heavyweight title fight between the UKs Phillip De Fries and former champion Karol Bedorf in the main event. This card will also see a rematch between two of Europe’s most promising welterweights in champion Dricus Du Plessis and Roberto Soldic.
