Lyman Good will return to the Octagon at UFC 244 when he takes on Chance Rencountre.
Newsday first reported the bout and Sherdog.com has since confirmed the matchup with multiple sources. UFC 244 goes down on Nov. 2 from Madison Square Garden in New York and is currently without a main event. A middleweight bout pitting Darren Till against Kelvin Gastelum is expected to take place on the card.
Good last fought back in February where he was submitted by Demian Maia in the first round. Before that, at UFC 230 in MSG last year, the New York City native knocked out Ben Saunders in the first round. He is 2-2 inside the Octagon overall.
Rencountre, meanwhile, is on a two-fight winning streak after dropping his UFC debut to Belal Muhammad, a fight he took on short notice. Since then, he has earned victories over Kyle Steward and Ismail Naurdiev. The 32-year-old is currently 14-3 as a pro.
