Mariya Agapova will compete for the second time in an approximately two-month span when she faces Shana Dobson at a UFC event on Aug. 22.

Combate was first to report the flyweight booking. The UFC Fight Night event is expected to take place in the United States, with the UFC Apex in Las Vegas the most likely destination. The card does not currently have a headliner.

Agapova is coming off a first-round submission of Hannah Cifers in her Octagon debut at UFC on ESPN 10 on June 13. The 23-year-old Kazakhstan native has won three fights in a row dating back to last September, a stretch that includes finishes of Marilia Santos and Alexa Conners under the Invicta FC banner. Her lone career loss in 10 professional appearances came via decision to Tracy Cortez on Season 3 of the Contender Series.

The 31-year-old Dobson is badly in need of a victory after falling to Priscila Cachoeira, Sabina Mazo and Lauren Mueller in her last three UFC appearance. Dobson debuted in the Octagon with a second-round TKO of Ariel Beck at “The Ultimate Fighter 26” finale.
