Hunt has even filed a lawsuit against the UFC regarding the incident and so it was no surprise to hear Hunt’s thoughts on another of his former opponents and former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum who this week received a two-year suspension by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).
Speaking to reporters at a UFC media day this week (via MMA Junkie), Hunt didn’t hold back in his assessment of the Brazilian. “I’m glad that Fabricio Werdum got caught, that little (expletive),” Hunt said. “Go back to the favelas. (Expletive) you, you little (expletive). Good job. He was supposed to be here, but that’s what you get for being weak. That’s what you get, Fabricio, for being a weak-minded person. See you later.”
The 44-year-old Hunt is back in action this weekend when he takes on Alexey Oleynik at UFC Fight Night 136 at Moscow’s Olympic Stadium in the UFC’s first-ever event in Russia. Hunt is excited to test his skills against the Russian but claimed to be happy just to be fighting someone who is free from banned substances, in light of the news regarding Werdum.
“He’s a clean fighter, so it’s great,” Hunt told reporters, during a media day on Thursday.
