KSW is building a solid card for its return in July.

On Thursday morning, the Polish promotion took to Twitter to announce that its latest roster addition. Mateusz Legierski will lock horns with Roman Szymanski at KSW 53.

The undefeated Polish prospect Legierski (6-0) is making his promotional debut after claiming the Oktagon MMA lightweight title. The first five fights on the record of "Dynamit" ended inside the distance, and his most recent appearance ended that streak when he won a five-round split decision over Miroslav Strbak. The current Oktagon MMA lightweight champ, KSW will share Legierski with the Czech-Slovak promotion.

Szymanski (12-5) felt short of capturing the KSW featherweight interim belt at KSW 48. On that occasion, he was defeated by Salahdine Parnasse via Round 2 TKO. The 27-year old Polish fighter managed to bounce back at KSW 51 in Zagreb, edging Milos Janicic and sealing his return to the lightweight category. Under KSW’s banner, Szymanski has earned wins over Sebastian Romanowski, Denilson Neves de Oliveira, and Daniel Torres.

KSW 53 will go down in Warsaw, Poland, on July 11. The bill will also feature the long-awaited third bout between Mateusz Gamrot (15-0) and Norman Parke (28-6-1), as well as a lightweight clash between Borys Mankowski (20-8-1) and Marcin Wrzosek (14-6). Additionally, the card will feature the return in the cage of Tomasz Drwal (21-5). The former UFC contender Drwal will dust off his gloves five years after his latest match, which saw him lose to Michal Materla at KSW 31 for the middleweight title.
