The California-based promotion announced the pairing on Tuesday. Mitrione vs. Kharitonov will take place on Feb. 15, and the card will air on Paramount and stream on DAZN at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. On Feb. 16, a welterweight grand prix quarterfinal pairing between Paul Daley and Michael Page will headline a Bellator card at the same venue.

Mitrione was victorious in his first four Bellator MMA appearances before falling to Ryan Bader via unanimous decision in the semifinals of the promotion’s heavyweight grand prix on Oct. 12. “Meathead” owns a 13-6 career mark that includes a 9-5 record in the UFC.

Kharitonov is unbeaten in his last six pro outings, which includes a pair of victories under the Bellator banner. Most recently, the 38-year-old Russian scored a first-round TKO of Roy Nelson at Bellator 207.
