Ultimate Fighting Championship officials announced the matchup on Monday.

Blanco, 31, suffered losses in three of his first four Octagon appearances but last year righted his ship with back-to-back victories against Andy Ogle and Daniel Hooker. The Venezuelan wrestling convert rose to prominence in Japan’s now-defunct Sengoku organization, where Blanco compiled a five-fight knockout streak between 2009 and 2010.
De La Torre will look to start a winning streak of his own, having started his year with a knockout of Tiago dos Santos e Silva on Feb. 22. The 28-year-old dropped bouts to Mark Bocek and Brian Ortega to begin his UFC career, but the latter loss was overturned when Ortega tested positive for anabolic steroids.
