A featherweight clash pitting Megan Anderson against Charmaine Tweet will top the Invicta Fighting Championships bill on Jan. 14.

The all-female promotion recently confirmed the pairing. Invicta FC 21 takes place at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo., and will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass. Additionally, professional boxer Heather Hardy will make her promotional debut at the event against an as-yet-to-be-named opponent.

A native of Gold Coast, Australia, the 26-year-old Anderson is 7-2 in her burgeoning pro career. She enters the matchup with Tweet on the strength of three straight triumphs under the Invicta banner, with each of those wins coming by knockout or technical knockout. Most recently, she stopped “The Ultimate Fighter 18” alum Peggy Morgan 4:09 into the opening stanza at Invicta FC 18 on July 29.

Tweet, meanwhile, has won three straight since suffering a 46-second TKO defeat against Cristiane Justino in February 2015. In her last outing, “Not So Sweet” stopped Latoya Walker with a spinning back fist and follow-up punches in the opening stanza of their encounter at Invicta FC 17. Tweet is 9-5 as a professional, with eight triumphs coming inside the distance.
