Michael Chiesa will make his first 170-pound foray against Carlos Condit at UFC 232.

Multiple outlets confirmed the booking on Tuesday following an initial report from ESPN.com. UFC 232 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in las Vegas on Dec. 29 and features a women’s featherweight title tilt between Cristiane Justino and Amanda Nunes.

Chiesa will move to welterweight on the heels of back-to-back losses to Anthony Pettis and Kevin Lee at 155 pounds. “Maverick” missed weight for his UFC 226 bout against Pettis, which he lost via second-round submission. The Sikjitsu product is 7-4 in the UFC and 14-4 as a professional overall.

Condit will attempt to halt a four-fight skid. The 34-year-old Jackson-Wink MMA product last appeared at UFC on Fox 29, where he was submitted in the second round by Alex Oliveira.
