Streaking Brazilian welterweight Michel Prazeres will face a new opponent at UFC Prague, as Ismail Naurdiev has stepped in to replace Ramazan Emeev.
Promotion officials recently confirmed the new booking. Emeev was forced to withdraw from the event due to an undisclosed injury. UFC Fight Night 145 takes place at O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic on Feb. 23 and is headlined by a light heavyweight clash between Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos. The card streams on ESPN+.
Prazeres is currently on an eight-fight UFC winning streak. The 37-year-old Brazilian last appeared at UFC Fight Night 140, where he submitted Bartosz Fabinski in the opening stanza.
A native of Salzburg, Austria, Naurdiev will enter his promotional debut with a 17-2 record. The 22-year-old known as “The Austrian Wonderboy” has finished all but one of his victories by way of knockout, technical knockout or submission.
