The fight card for UFC 140 is now complete with 12 bouts, as promotion officials announced Tuesday that a middleweight contest between Jared Hamman and Constantinos Philippou will go down at the Dec. 10 event.
Hamman (Pictured) recently made a successful debut at 185 pounds when he knocked out C.B. Dollaway in the second round of their August clash. Prior to that win, the EliteXC veteran lost two of his first three Octagon bouts at light heavyweight, besting Rodney Wallace between losses to Alexander Gustafsson and Kyle Kingsbury.
A native of Cyprus, Phillipou recently earned his first UFC victory by outpointing a game Jorge Rivera in a split decision at UFC 133. The Aug. 6 victory came following a loss in his Octagon debut, as Phillipou was beaten by Nick Catone at UFC 128. A nine-time Ring of Combat veteran, Phillipou holds half of his career wins by knockout.
