Middleweights Julian Marquez, Alessio Di Chirico to Clash at ‘TUF 27 Finale’

Two Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight prospects are set to collide this summer.

Julian Marquez and Alessio Di Chirico will meet at the “The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale” on July 6 in Las Vegas. The news was first reported by Adam Hill of The Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Both contenders are coming off a second-round finish: Marquez submitted Darren Stewart, whereas Di Chirico knocked out Oluwale Bamgbose. Both these fights took place at UFC on Fox 26.

According to the report, Roxanne Modafferi vs. Barb Honchak and Rachael Ostovich vs. Montana De La Rosa were also added to the “TUF 27 Finale” card. Both fights will take place in the women’s flyweight division. The main event of the card, which will be held at the Palms Casino Resort, is still to be announced.
