Multiple New Bouts Confirmed for UFC 319 in Chicago
The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s return to the Windy City will include a quartet of lightweight veterans.

UFC 319 takes place on Aug. 16 at the United Center in Chicago and is headlined by a middleweight championship clash between Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev.
The 38-year-old Green has lost three of his last four Octagon appearances and is coming off a first-round KO defeat to Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 313 this past March. Ferreira, 40, had a two-bout winning streak snapped in his last outing, when he dropped a three-round verdict to Grant Dawson at UFC 311 on Jan. 18.
Barboza is returning to 155 pounds on the heels of a unanimous decision loss to Lerone Murphy in the UFC Fight Night 241 headliner in May 2024. Klose, meanwhile, won four straight bouts before UFC on ESPN 63, where he suffered a first-round KO loss to Joel Alvarez last December.
