Nadia Kassem, Ji Yeon Kim to Clash at UFC 243 in Melbourne
Nadia Kassem will once again fight in Australia, as she takes on Ji Yeon Kim at UFC 243.
Kassem announced on the strawweight bout on her Instagram. UFC 243 goes down at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, and will be headlined by a middleweight title fight between Robert Whittaker and Israel Adesanya.
Kassem made her second walk to the Octagon at UFC 234, where she was submitted by Montana De La Rosa in the second round. In her promotional debut she beat Alex Chambers by decision at UFC Fight Night 121. A native of Sydney, Kassem owns a 5-1 professional mark overall.
Kim has gone 2-2 in four UFC appearances. Most recently, she dropped a unanimous verdict to Antonina Shevchenko at "The Ultimate Fighter 28" finale in November.
