Nate Diaz Charged with Battery for Alleged Altercation at Las Vegas Nightclub
Former UFC star Nate Diaz is facing a misdemeanor battery charge for an alleged incident that occurred at a Las Vegas nightclub this past August.

A video of the alleged incident surfaced on social media earlier this year. In that footage, Diaz can be seen shoving a man in the face during the scuffle before the two are separated. The UFC veteran had left the scene by the time police arrived, per court documents. A misdemeanor battery charge was filed against Diaz in October. He could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.

Diaz was back in Las Vegas this past weekend to corner teammate Kron Gracie against Bryce Mitchell at UFC 310. The Stockton, California, native’s last combat sports appearance occurred on July 6, when he took a majority decision over former UFC foe Jorge Masvidal in a boxing match. The 39-year-old a Diaz hasn’t competed in the Octagon since a fourth-round submission victory against Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 in September 2022.
