One Championship Releases Upcoming Schedule Including ‘Road to One’ Europe Series

The stage is set for the remainder of the year for One Championship.

The promotion sent out a press release on Thursday that detailed its series of events that will take place in Europe to vie for One Championship contracts. The first five cards, which will serve as a grand prix that stretches from June to July, will bring 32 heavyweight kickboxers together in a single elimination tournament. The winner will earn a contract with the promotion, although it is possible that other competitors may get signed as well.

The President of One Championship Italy, Carlo Di Blasi, explained, “I am excited to showcase the best heavyweight kickboxers in Europe. We have made incredible strides over the past few months to highlight the immense talent in the region. I have always believed in the massive potential we have in Europe, and I am thrilled to experience it firsthand.”

The first event will take place on Friday, on June 11 at the Kovilovo Resort in Belgrade, Serbia. Two matches slated for the event include Nikola Filipovic of Spain against Aleksandar Dimovski from North Macedonia, while Montenegro’s Miroslav Vujovic takes on Croatian Anto Siric. Four events in Spain on June 26, Turkey on July 3, the Netherlands on July 10 and Germany on July 17 will follow. The events can all be watched on the One Super App as well as Fite.TV in the U.S. and most regions around the world.

Additionally, per the organization’s webpage, the full slate of events is now listed. None of these cards – the next One show that is not tape-delayed will take place on July 9 – have designations or anything besides numbers. Neither locations nor competitors were announced for any of these 12 offerings.

The first show will be on July 9, and it will be followed by one on July 30. Aug. 13 and 27 will take that month, while events on Sept. 3 and 24 are staged in September. Oct. 8 and 29 are currently marked on the calendar, as well as Nov. 12 and 26 – the latter is the day after the American holiday of Thanksgiving. Finally, Dec. 10 is on the books, and the year will wrap with One 150 on Dec. 31. It is unclear whether these will be live or will air on tape delay.
