One Championship to Return With One: No Surrender in Thailand on July 31
Good news for MMA fans, as the health situation is slowly starting to go back to normal in Asia.
On Friday morning, One Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong took to his social media to announce that One is back after a five-month hiatus. The next One event will be called One: No Surrender, and will take place on July 31 in Bangkok, Thailand. The card will be closed to the public, with no crowd in attendance.

"One Championship is BACK,” Sityodtong wrote. “After a successful One Hero Series 13 and 14 in China last weekend, One Championship will now kick off our flagship event schedule with One: No Surrender on July 31 in Thailand!"
The COVID-19 outbreak forced One Championship to cancel its scheduled event on March 20. One: Heart of Heroes event should have gone down at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Subsequently, the next several cards for the organization were also scratched due to the coronavirus pandemic.
There have been no announcements for who will be competing on these cards, although Sityodtong claimed it would be a “flagship” event, which typically means marquis names or champions competing. Given the still worrying health situation going on in Asia, it seems likely that most of the athletes who will fight on the bill will be local names. New updates will follow in the upcoming days.
