Saturday’s One Fighting Championship headliner between Shinya Aoki and Arnaud Lepont will move forward as planned, as both lightweights hit their contracted marks at Friday’s One FC 6 weigh-in.
The event will also serve to crown the promotion’s first two world champions, as Kotetsu Boku (154.5) locks horns with Zorobabel Moreira (154.3) for the lightweight title, while Soo Chul Kim (135) rematches Leandro Issa (135) for the bantamweight belt. The main draw will also feature a middleweight confrontation between former Cage Rage titlist Melvin Manhoef (185) and reigning King of Pancrase Ryo Kawamura (184.3).
Additionally, three bantamweight grand prix quarterfinals will be contested at the event, as Jens Pulver (135), Masakatsu Ueda (135) and Kevin Belingon (134.5) take on Yanfei Zhao (134.3), Min Jung Song (135) and Yusup Saadulaev (135), respectively. Featherweights Ngabdi Mulyadi (145) and Mitch Chilson (145) will open the show, kicking off a two-fight preliminary card that also features a flyweight pairing between Gianni Subba (125) and Bruce Loh (125).
