Four new bouts have been added to One FC 23 “Warrior’s Way,” including a lightweight tilt between Eduard Folayang and Timofey Nastyukhin.
One Fighting Championship Thursday announced the new additions, which join the Dec. 5 event in Manila, Philippines, headlined by bantamweight champion Bibiano Fernandes and challenger Dae Hwan Kim.
A women’s flyweight matchup pitting former boxer Ana Julaton against Egyptian star Walaa Abas Mohamed Kamaly was also confirmed, as was a flyweight tilt between Rene Catalan and Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke, and a 105-pound fight featuring Jujeath Nagaowa versus Tharoth Sam.
Folayang is currently riding a two-fight winning streak, defeating both Vincent Latoel and former promotional champion Kotetsu Boku via unanimous decision. In Nastyukhin. he will meet a competitor who has won all seven of his bouts via first-round finish and not tasted defeat since 2010. Coming off her first loss as a professional, Julaton will look to bounce back against Abbas. A former WBO and IBA super bantamweight champion in boxing, “The Hurricane” will be up against a kickboxer riding a two-fight winning streak in Egyptian Fighting Championship.
