One ‘Mark of Greatness’ Weigh-in Results: All Fighters Make Weight, 3 Fail Hydration Tests
One Championship returns to Malaysia tomorrow with a card full of different combat sports.
One Championship: Mark of Greatness is headlined by two championship kickboxing bouts as Sam-A Gaiyanghadao will face Wang Junguang for the inaugural One strawweight kickboxing championship. Additionally, Alaverdi Ramazanov and Zhang Chenglong will clash for the inaugural bantamweight kickboxing belt.
The mixed martial arts portion of the card will be headlined by a
pivotal 115-pound contest between Hayatun
Jihin Radzuan (115.25) and Denice
Zamboanga (113). Zamboanga will look to keep her undefeated
record intact while Radzuan will try to cement herself as a
possible title contender.
While every fighter on the card made weight -- including Rodian Menchavez (158.25) and Yoon Chang Min (158), who are fighting at a 158.75 pound catchweight -- three fighters failed their initial hydration tests. One Championship has yet to give an update if they passed subsequent attempts or if there will be any punishment.
