Oumar Kane: Quick KO Win Proves Mamadou Kamara Not at My Level
Oumar Kane believes his win over countryman Mamadou “Boucher Ketchup” Kamara firmly established the wide gap in their skillsets.

While they both traded several barbs leading up to the bout, for Kane it was nothing more than a fight.
“Yes, but this is [just a] fight. In a fight, you come in hungry.
And this is a fight,” Kane said at the post-fight press conference.
“You come in [here] all the time and you're hungry. You just gotta
beat this guy. He's talking too much, this guy, since [before] the
fight.”
Kane noted that his social media influencer opponent, who now lives in the Bronx, New York, continues to have a massive following in their home country of Senegal. Kane wants everyone to know that he is levels above “Boucher Ketchup” with the latest knockout win.
“This fight finished only in the first round, but this guy has a [big following] in Senegal. Everybody knows this guy,” Kane said. “He’s a good guy. He has good wrestling in Senegal. But this guy is not [at] a high level. Everybody should know this guy is, [we're not on the] same high level. My boxing is much better now.”
Prior to his ONE Championship debut, Kamara competed in a lone amateur MMA fight in January 2022, earning a decision win over an opponent with the given name of Dieuf Dieul.
Meanwhile, currently riding a three-fight winning streak in MMA, Kane challenges Anatoly Malykhin for the heavyweight title at ONE Championship 169 on Nov. 8 in Atlanta. The Senegalese star believes he has a variety of weapons in his arsenal to make it an easy night at the office against Malykhin.
“It's the same for me, in my mind,” Kane said. “This guy was talking too much. Inshallah, I beat this guy easily… I win. Maybe punch him, maybe high kick, anything. Maybe [with my] wrestling, maybe jiu-jitsu. This is MMA, it’s up to Malykhin, anything [can happen] in MMA.”
