PFL 2019 2 Weigh-ins: Two Miss Weight; One Not Medically Cleared

The Professional Fighters League is back in the NYCB Live at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, for PFL 2019 2. However,the card received several changes due to two fighters missing weight and one not being medically cleared.

The card will still be headlined by last year's featherweight champion, Lance Palmer (145.2) taking on Alex Gilpin (145.4). The storyline everyone is talking about is Jeremy Kennedy's (145.4) original opponent in Alexandre Bezerra (155). "Popo" missed weight by nine pounds and has been removed from the card. The Canadian will now take on Luis Rafael Laurentino (145.4) as his opponent Alexandre Almeida (147) missed weight by a pound and will be off the card as well.

Finally, Ronys Torres was not medically cleared to compete meaning his opponent Ramsey Nijem (155.4) will be awarded three points and paid his show and win money.

The PFL 2019 2 main card airs on ESPN+ at 9 p.m. ET with the prelims on ESPN2 starting at 7 p.m. ET.
