UFC veteran Pat Barry has suffered an elbow injury and will no longer face Karl Roberson in the Glory 24 co-main event, promotion officials announced Wednesday.

As a result, a middleweight tilt between Dustin Jacoby and Wayne Barrett will serve as the evening’s co-headliner. No timetable was given for Barry’s return.

Glory 24 takes place on Oct. 9 at the Magness Arena in Denver and will see Joe Schilling square off against Jason Wilnis in the evening’s main event. The card will also feature a four-man heavyweight contender tournament, as Benjamin Adegbuyi locks horns with Mladen Brestovac, while Ben Edwards> collides with Jahfarr Wilnis. The winner of the bracket will receive a shot at reigning Glory heavyweight king Rico Verhoeven. The five-bout main card airs on Spike TV.

Jacoby, who recently won the Glory middleweight qualification tournament, owns a 6-5 career record with five knockout triumphs. He is 10-5 in professional MMA, and has fought in Bellator MMA, the UFC and World Series of Fighting. Barrett, a native of New York, is 5-3 with four KOs.
