Paul Felder vs. Joshua Burkman Set for UFC Fight Night in Vegas on May 29

A lightweight clash between Paul Felder and Joshua Burkman has been added to the UFC Fight Night lineup in Las Vegas on May 29.

Felder confirmed the matchup to Sherdog.com on Saturday evening. The UFC Fight Night event is expected to be headlined by a bantamweight scrap pitting Thomas Almeida against Cody Garbrandt. The bill will also included a featherweight tilt between Renan Barao and Jeremy Stephens.

Felder halted a two-bout skid at UFC Fight Night in Boston, where he submitted Daron Cruickshank with a rear-naked choke 3:56 into round three on Jan. 17. With the win, “The Irish Dragon” improved to 3-2 inside the Octagon.

After back-to-back losses against Dong Hyun Kim and Patrick Cote, Burkman made a successful move to 155 pounds at UFC Fight Night “Hendricks vs. Thompson,” as he captured a unanimous decision triumph over K.J. Noons in Las Vegas on Feb. 6.
