It appears that Cristiane Justino may get her wish to compete at UFC 198 in Curitiba, Brazil.

According to a report from UFC Tonight, the Las Vegas-based promotion is exploring the possibility of having “Cyborg” fight at the May 14 event. If everything works out and the UFC is able to find a willing oppoent, Justino would likely fight at 145 or 140 pounds, but not at bantamweight.

“Cyborg” recently lobbied for a spot on UFC 198 in a post on her website.

“It would be an honor to return to the city I was born in, and to step inside the Octagon with an opportunity to prove myself as one of the best female fighters in the sport,” she wrote.

Justino is currently the Invicta FC featherweight champion, but the Brazilian is technically under Zuffa contract, which makes her eligible to fight in the Octagon. Justino is 5-0 in Invicta and last defended her belt on Jan. 16 with a first-round knockout of Daria Ibragimova.

UFC 198 takes place at the Arena de Baixada and is headlined by a heavyweight championship showdown between Fabricio Werdum and Stipe Miocic.
