A welterweight clash between Mike Pyle and Alberto Mina is one of five contests announced for the UFC Fight Night card in Las Vegas on July 7.
UFC Fight Night takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and is headlined by a lightweight title bout between Rafael dos Anjos and Eddie Alvarez. The card will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass.
The 40-year-old Pyle already has already notched one victory in 2016, scoring a third-round technical knockout against Sean Spencer at UFC Fight Night “Hendricks vs. Thompson” on Feb. 6. “Quicksand” is 10-6 in his UFC tenure overall.
Mina, 34, is unbeaten in 12 professional outings, including wins over Yoshihiro Akiyama and Shinsho Anzai in the Octagon. All but one of the Brazilian’s triumphs have come inside the distance.
After three straight wins to begin his promotional tenure, Burns suffered a unanimous decision setback to Rashid Magomedov in his last outing at UFC Fight Night “Belfort vs. Henderson 3.” Sajewski debuted at UFC Fight Night in Berlin last June, dropping a three-round verdict to Nick Hein, for his first loss in 14 bouts.
A cast member of “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America 2,” Herrera knocked out Vernon Ramos in 30 seconds in his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night “Magny vs. Gastelum” on Nov. 21. Luque, a “TUF 21” veteran, split a pair of UFC bouts in 2015.
After making the semifinals on “TUF: Latin America,” Beltran has earned consecutive triumphs over Guangyou Ning and Marlon Vera in the Octagon. Vieira won “TUF: Brazil 4” by besting Dileno Lopes at UFC 190 last August.
