RFA vs. Legacy Weigh-in Results: Pantoja, Page Official for Flyweight Title Bout

By Tristen Critchfield May 7, 2015
Alexandre Pantoja and Damacio Page are ready to vie for promotional bragging rights -- not to mention a little extra hardware to add to the trophy case.

Both Pantoja (124.8) and Page (124.8) made weight on Thursday for their encounter at AXS TV Fights “RFA vs. Legacy.” The flyweight title bout will top a card that features several head-to-head matchups between the Resurrection Fighting Alliance and Legacy Fighting Championship promotions. The event takes place at Horshoe Tunica Resort in Robinsonville, Miss., on Friday night and airs on AXS TV at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

RFA’s Pantoja is 15-2 as a professional and enters the bout on an eight-fight winning streak. The Shooto veteran captured flyweight gold with a second-round submission of Matt Manzanares at RFA 18 this past September. The 25-year-old Brazilian has finished 11 of his 15 triumphs inside the distance.

Legacy’s Page, meanwhile, has won three straight bouts, all under the Texas-based promotion’s banner. The 32-year-old Jackson-Wink MMA product authored one of 2014’s best knockouts in his most recent outing, as he flattened Brian Hall 1:48 into their encounter at Legacy FC 36. “The Angel of Death” has won four of five overall since being released by the UFC in 2012.
