Muhammad (17-3) is currently riding a three-bout winning streak. In his latest Octagon appearance, "Remember The Name” upended Lyman Good thanks to a decision at UFC on ESPN 11 back in June. Prior, he submitted Takashi Sato via rear-naked choke in the third round of their UFC 242 encounter, taking home a performance of the night bonus. The Roufusport representative also edged Curtis Millender via unanimous decision at UFC 236.
A former Cage Fury Fighting Championships title holder, Brady is putting his perfect 13-0 record on the line against Muhammad. After signing with the UFC, the 27-year-old overcame both Court McGee and Ismail Naurdiev via decision at UFC on ESPN 6 and UFC Fight Night 169, respectively. The last time he competed, he rendered Christian Aguilera unconscious via guillotine choke at UFC Fight Night 175. The second-round technical submission victory earned him a performance of the night bonus.
The UFC has yet to give an official title to the upcoming Dec. 19 lineup. The card also includes a middleweight clash between Deron Winn (6-2) and Antonio Braga Neto (9-3).
