According to a report from MMA Fighting on Thursday, Bruno Silva (10-4-2) will clash with Su Mudaerji (12-4) at UFC Brasilia in March. Both previously on the bantamweight roster, the two will make the move down to 125 pounds for this collision.

Silva's promotional debut was less than fortuitous as he was submitted by Khalid Taha at UFC 243 in October. However, Taha tested positive for a diuretic and the current result of the fight is under review and could be overturned to a no-contest. The one-time Legacy Fighting Alliance combatant fought to a draw with current top-15 bantamweight Casey Kenney at LFA 11 in 2017. Following that draw, Silva rattled off two wins over Joe Madrid and Ralph Acosta to earn a spot on the UFC roster.

Mudaerji dropped his Octagon debut in exciting fashion to Louis Smolka at UFC Fight Night 141 in November 2018, and successfully bounced back by capturing a one-sided decision over Andre Soukhamthath. The longtime Wu Lin Feng veteran has finished his opponent in 11 of his 12 victories, and reached the scorecards for the first time in his career against Soukhamthath. All four of the career defeats for "Tibetan Eagle" have come by tapout.

UFC Fight Night "Lee vs. Oliveira" will take place at the Nilson Nelson Gymnasium in Brasilia, Brazil, on March 14. Headlining the card is a thrilling lightweight encounter between Kevin Lee and Charles Oliveira, while two jiu-jitsu aces in Demian Maia and Gilbert Burns will also throw down at welterweight that night.
