A thrilling featherweight matchup has been added to the Ultimate Fighting Championship's return trip to Philadelphia in March, pitting Kevin Aguilar against Enrique Barzola.

According to Damon Martin of MMAWeekly on Thursday, Aguilar (16-1) will be facing Barzola (15-3-1) at UFC on ESPN 2 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia this March.

The sole man to ever defend a Legacy Fighting Alliance featherweight belt, Aguilar made his UFC debut on two weeks' notice at the “TUF 28” Finale last November. At that event, "The Angel of Death" defeated Rick Glenn by decision after Glenn missed weight by two and a half pounds. Celebrating a combined record of 8-1 in the LFA and Legacy Fighting Championship, Aguilar has finished his opponent in 11 of his 16 victories throughout his career.

Peruvian Barzola won his season of “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America 2” at lightweight in 2015 when he beat Horacio Gutierrez by decision. "El Fuerte" then went on to drop a controversial split decision where all 14 scoring media members gave Barzola the nod against Kyle Bochniak at UFC on Fox 21 in 2016. Following that loss, Barzola has put together a four-fight win streak with decision wins over the likes of Brandon Davis and Matt Bessette.

UFC on ESPN 2 will take place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on March 30. Headlining the promotion's return to Philly will be an all-action lightweight battle between Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje. Also appearing on the card will be a significant women’s strawweight bout between Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Michelle Waterson.
