Bantamweight star Thomas Almeida has agreed to terms with the Ultimate Fighting Championship on a contract extension, according to a report from MMAJunkie.com.

While believed to be a five-fight deal, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The undefeated 24-year-old captured Legacy Fighting Championship gold before advancing to the UFC, where he’s reeled off three impressive performances and two spectacular knockouts. Almeida’s vicious jumping knee against Brad Pickett will surely be a candidate for 2015’s KO of the year. The Chute Boxe product also has scored wins against Tim Gorman and Yves Jabouin in the Octagon.
