Tim Elliott and Jamahal Hill have tested positive for marijuana in relation to their bouts at UFC on ESPN 9 on May 30, according to a report from ESPN.

Both fighters tested positive in-competition and are currently under temporary suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Those sanctions are expected to be extended at a meeting on Wednesday until a disciplinary hearing can be held at a future date.

According to both NSAC and USADA regulations, marijuana is prohibited in-competition over a threshold of 150ng/ml. It is unclear if USADA will sanction Elliott or Hill.

Elliott suffered a second-round submission loss to Brandon Royval at UFC on ESPN 9 but also competed more recently, earning a unanimous verdict over Ryan Benoit at UFC on ESPN 13 in Abu Dhabi.

Hill, meanwhile, improved to 8-0 in his burgeoning professional career with a first-round TKO of Klidson Abreu at UFC on ESPN 9.

Two other fighters, Luis Pena and Marc-Andre Barriault, are also facing extensions of their temporary suspensions at Wednesday’s NSAC meeting. The reason for those suspensions are currently unknown.
