Rangbo Sulang moved along in the 135-pound draw and did so in emphatic fashion on Friday at the UFC Performance Institute in Shanghai, China, where he buried Peter Danesoe (8-4) with punches in the first round of their quarterfinal. Sulang (9-3) brought it to a close 3:48 into Round 1. The 19-year-old Enbo Fight Club prospect advances to meet Sim Kai Xiong (7-1)—a 30-27, 30-27, 29-28 unanimous decision winner over Kuya Ito (17-9-1)—in the bantamweight semifinals.

his ticket with a 29-27, 29-28, 29-28 unanimous decision over

with second-round punches and elbows. Imura (12-5) checked out 4:04
into Round 2.

Meanwhile, Jae Hyun Park broke through in the 155-pound field, as he disposed of Jack Becker with punches and elbows in the second round of their lightweight quarterfinal. Becker (13-6) succumbed to blows 3:56 into Round 2. Park (8-3) moves on to face Dom Mar Fan (7-2)—a 29-27, 29-27, 29-27 unanimous decision winner over Yuji Ephoevi-Ga (11-1)—in the lightweight semifinals.

Yawei Ren (9-3) sets his sights on Sang Wook Kim in the other lightweight semifinal. Ren put Deni Daffa (6-2) to sleep with a guillotine choke 2:01 into the first round of their 155-pound quarterfinal, while Kim (12-3) dismissed Daichi Kamiya with a second-round burst of elbows and punches. Kamiya (6-1) met his end 3:53 into Round 2.
Finally, Kangjie Zhu (21-4) eked out a split decision over Bin Xie in the “Road to UFC” Season 3 featherweight final. Scores were 30-27 and 29-8 for Zhu, 29-29 for Xie (13-5).
