Rob Font, Alejandro Perez to Clash at ‘The Ultimate Fighter 24’ Finale on Dec. 3

Rob Font will lock horns with Alejandro Perez at "The Ultimate Fighter 24” finale.

The promotion confirmed the matchup following an initial report from the Boston Herald on Tuesday. The “TUF 24” finale takes place at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Dec. 3 and will see Demetrious Johnson defend the flyweight crown against the reality show winner in the main event.

Font had an 11-fight winning streak snapped in his last outing, as he dropped a three-round verdict to John Lineker at UFC 198 on May 14. Prior to that, Font had earned stoppage victories against Joey Gomez and George Roop in his first two Octagon appearances.

Perez, meanwhile, is coming off a majority draw against Albert Morales at UFC Fight Night “Poirier vs. Johnson” on Sept. 17. He is 3-1-1 during his promotional tenure and 17-6-1 as a professional overall.
