Grappling ace Rodolfo Vieira will lock horns with Markus Perez at an Ultimate Fighting Championship event on Oct. 10.

MMAFighting.com was first to report the middleweight contest. The event does not have a location or a headliner as of yet.

An Abu Dhabi Combat Combat Club gold medalist and a five time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion, Vieira is unbeaten is seven professional MMA outings thus far. The 30-year-old Brazilian has opened his UFC tenure with back-to-back submission wins over Oskar Piechota and Saparbek Safarov.

Perez, meanwhile, is 2-3 in the Octagon since making his debut in December 2017. Most recently, the 30-year-old Sao Paulo, Brazil, native dropped a unanimous verdict to Wellington Turman at UFC Fight Night 164 this past November.
