The promotion announced the 135-pound pairing on Tuesday. Invicta FC 27 takes place at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo. The card will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Eight other matchups were confirmed for Invicta FC 27: Vanessa Porto vs. Mariana Morais at flyweight; Sharon Jacobson vs. Ashley Nichols at strawweight; Ashley Cummins vs. Stephanie Alba at atomweight; Brogan Walker-Sanchez vs. an as-yet-to-be-named opponent at flyweight; Felicia Spencer vs. Akeela Al-Hameed at featherweight; Mallory Martin vs. Tiffany Masters at strawweight; Loma Lookboonmee vs. Melissa Wang at atomweight and Jade Ripley vs. Helen Peralta at strawweight.

Kaufman returned to the win column in March, as she outpointed Jessica-Rose Clark at BFC “Battlefield: The Great Beginning.” Prior to that, the 32-year-old Canadian exited the UFC on the heels of back-to-back losses to Valentina Shevchenko and Alexis Davis. Kaufman is 18-4 with one no contest over the course of her pro career and owns notable wins over the likes of Leslie Smith (twice), Davis (twice), Liz Carmouche, Roxanne Modafferi, Shayna Baszler, Miesha Tate and Valerie Letourneau.

A former Cage Warriors bantamweight queen, Kianzad is coming off losses to Raquel Pa’aluhi and Tonya Evinger in her last two outings. The 26-year-old Swede began her professional tenure with eight straight triumphs, including wins over UFC competitors Clark, Milana Dudieva and Lina Lansberg.
