Seattle’s KeyArena to Host UFC on Fox 5 ‘Henderson vs. Diaz’ on Dec. 8

Benson Henderson and Nate Diaz now know where they will do battle for the UFC lightweight title, as promotion officials announced Tuesday that UFC on Fox 5 will take place Dec. 8 at Seattle’s KeyArena.

The news was revealed during an episode of “UFC Tonight” on Fuel TV. In addition to Henderson’s headlining bout with Diaz, UFC on Fox 5 will also see Mauricio “Shogun” Rua take on Swedish prospect Alexander Gustafsson, and former two-division champion B.J. Penn lock horns with rising Canadian talent Rory MacDonald.

The UFC previously visited Seattle last year for UFC Fight Night 24, which featured a light heavyweight headliner between then-undefeated Phil Davis and Pride Fighting Championships alum Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
