Six Fights Announced for UFC Sacramento, Including Sara McMann vs. Nicco Montano

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is making its return to Sacramento, Calif., on July 13 for the first time in almost three years.

The UFC recently announced six bouts to the Sacramento Bee for the card, but it is still without a main event.

The most notable matchup is former UFC flyweight champion Nicco Montano returning to the Octagon at bantamweight. She hasn’t fought since December 2017 and was suspended by USADA recently, as well. The former champ will be taking on Sara McMann, who is riding a two-fight losing streak.

In the middleweight division, Karl Roberson is set to take on John Phillips, while Marvin Vettori will also return to take on Cezar Ferreira. Then, Beneil Dariush will return to scrap Drakkar Klose in a lightweight bout. In the bantamweight division, two prospects collide in Benito Lopez vs. Martin Day.

Finally, jiu-jitsu ace Ryan Hall, who is coming off a submission win over B.J. Penn, will take on Darren Elkins, which will be Hall’s first ranked opponent of his career.
