‘Slice’ Earns $25,000 for UFC Debut

Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson earned $25,000 (disclosed pay only) for his unanimous decision nod over Houston Alexander at “The Ultimate Fighter 10” Finale Saturday in Las Vegas, according to documents released Monday by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Season 10 winner Roy Nelson made $41,000 for his first-round knockout of fellow finalist Brendan Schaub, who took home $8,000. Nelson was also awarded a six-figure, multi-year contract with the organization.
Frankie
Edgar was the evening’s big breadwinner, at least on paper. The
rising lightweight earned $71,000 for his second-round submission
of Matt
Veach, which included a $25,000 “Fight of the Night” bonus”
awarded by the promotion. Veach made $30,000.
