Steven Peterson Believes He Finishes Alex Caceres in the First Round
Steven Peterson has been wanting to fight Alex Caceres since before he was in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and at UFC San Antonio, he finally gets his wish.
Although the Fortis MMA product is the underdog, he has a tremendous amount of confidence entering this fight. "Ocho" not only expects to beat his opponent, but will dominate and finish "Bruce Leeroy" in the first round.

Should Peterson go out and finish Caceres in the first like he says, it would be a big win for his career. He knows his opponent is a big name and has a big following, so should he finish Caceres, he expects some of Caceres's fans to change sides.
"A win over Alex can make me a household name. Alex Caceres or 'Bruce Leeroy' is well known in MMA and if I dominate him then it will put me [as] a household name," he explained.
Peterson isn't sure where Caceres has an advantage in this fight, as the both are from Texas, so they will have to also vie for the crowd's affection.
"I love fighting in Texas. I always draw a pretty big crowd in Texas, so whenever I fight close to home, I can expect a good crowd for me," he concluded. "Just excited to go out there and showcase what I can do at the highest level."
