Combate Americas will head to Los Angeles on April 26 with an event featuring some of its top female strawweight talent.
In the headliner of the event entitled “Reinas del Combate,” Melissa Martinez will square off against Caroline Gallardo at 115 pounds. Meanwhile, Kyra Batara will square off against Angela Magana in another featured strawweight affair.
Combate Americas”Reinas del Combate” takes place at the Galen Center and airs on DAZN. The card is also expected to include the likes of Zoila Frausto, Erick Gonzalez, Jose Estrada and Paulina Granados — all of whom do not yet have opponents.
A native of Mexico City, Martinez is unbeaten in five professional bouts — including four under the Combate Americas banner. She last fought at Combate Americas “Road to Copa Combate,” where she defeated Francis Hernandez via first-round TKO.
After losing her first two career bouts, Gallardo has won three in row heading into her Combate Americas debut. The 22-year-old Chile native has earned two wins by KO/TKO and one via submission.
