'TUF 13' Episode 7 Earns 1 Million Viewers

The seventh episode of “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 13 earned a season-low 1 million average viewers for its hour-long Spike TV broadcast, its

Spike TV informed Sherdog.com of the viewership numbers on Friday. The episode, which aired Wednesday night, scored a 0.8 household rating and ratings of 0.9 in both the M18-34 and M18-49 demographics, respectively. All three ratings figures, as well as the total viewership, fell from the previous week, which earned 1.2 million viewers.

Airing opposite Game 5 of the Miami Heat-Boston Celtics NBA playoff semifinal, episode seven of the long-running reality series featured the wild card fight between Chuck O'Neil of Team Lesnar and Javier Torres of Team Dos Santos. After a back-and-forth battle lasting nearly two rounds, O'Neil smartly locked up a brabo choke while both fighters were scrambling. Torres had no chance of escaping, as O'Neil deftly dropped his weight and applied the squeeze, forcing Torres to tap out.
