The Nevada State Athletic Commission on Monday released salaries from the card, which took place at Pearl Theatre at The Palms in Las Vegas. Usman earned an event-high $150,000 for his five-round verdict against dos Anjos in the evening’s welterweight headliner. Dos Anjos pocketed $110,000 in defeat.
Elsewhere, two-time flyweight title challenger Benavidez garnered $146,000 for a first-round technical knockout stoppage of Alex Perez ($22,000) in a preliminary contest. Meanwhile, 18-time Octagon veteran Tim Means was the card’s other notable earner, as he took home $98,000 for a TKO triumph against Rickey Rainey ($14,000) in a preliminary welterweight scrap.
