‘TUF Latin America 3: Team Liddell vs. Team Griffin’ Cast Revealed

Ultimate Fighting Championship on Tuesday announced the full cast for the third season of “The Ultimate Fighter Latin America.”

For the first time in the international series, two UFC Hall of Famers will oppose each other as coaches, as former light heavyweight champions Chuck Liddell and Forrest Griffin will act as the head instructors for this Spanish-speaking season.

Liddell and Griffin will have the assistance of important Latin American MMA coaches to help with training and communication. Both teams will be comprised of eight lightweight prospects hailing from all over Central and South America.

The coaching staff of Team Liddell will be comprised of Ivan Iberico (Peru), Raul Salas (Mexico) and Mike Valle (Chicago) while Team Griffin will have Raul Arvizu, (Mexico), Eduardo Duarte (Argentina) and Francisco Grasso (Mexico).

Though the exact teams have not been revealed, the 16 lightweight combatants are as follows:

“TUF Latin America 3” began filming on May 16 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The season’s finale will be held during the UFC’s live event in Mexico on Nov. 5. The show’s premiere is set for the week of Aug. 30 on UFC Fight Pass.
