‘TUF: Latin America’ Cast Revealed; Velasquez, Werdum to Coach 16 Fighters
The 16-man cast of “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America” is now official.
Ultimate Fighting Championship officials Tuesday announced that Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum will each head an eight-man team composed of bantamweights and featherweights.

Velasquez’s team will be made up entirely of Mexican fighters, while Werdum’s squad will showcase eight competitors from the other Latin American nations.
Audiences in the United States will be able to catch the
Spanish-language series this August on UFC Fight Pass, while fans
in the following countries can catch the weekly program on these
respective free-to-air channels: Argentina, CN5; Bolivia, Red Uno;
Mexico, Channel.5; Nicaragua, Channel 13; Panama, NexTV; Paraguay,
Telefuturo; and Uruguay, Channel 10.
Following the show’s run, Velasquez will put his heavyweight title on the line against Werdum, defending his gold in the main event of UFC 180, which takes place Nov. 15 in Mexico City.
