Tachi Palace Fights 31 Weigh-in Results: Champ Diaz, Champ Gibson Cleared for Conflict

Tachi Palace Fights returns to the forefront of the mixed martial arts world on Thursday with another solid night of action. TPF 31 is set to be anchored by a matchup of champions as reigning Tachi PF featherweight champ Adrian Diaz will put his belt on the line against Cody Gibson. At Wednesday’s weigh-ins, everybody on the card was on point.

Gibson, the promotion’s current bantamweight king, has opted to move up 10 pounds to challenge Diaz. Looking to become a simultaneous titlist in two weight classes, the UFC veteran was on point on that scale. Gibson came in at 144.6 pounds and looked as fierce as ever.

Diaz, meanwhile, was as calm as could be as he strolled onto the stage. The 145-pound titleholder officially checked in a few ounces lighter than his challenger; Diaz weighed 144.4 pounds, giving the main even the expected green light.

The action will be streamed live right here on Sherdog.com from inside the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, Calif. Everything begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
