Tanner Boser was supposed to make his UFC debut at UFC 240, but his fight against Giacomo Lemos was canceled just days before after his opponent failed a drug test.
Now, the UFC has booked Boser to take on Daniel Spitz at UFC on ESPN 6 in Boston. The Canadian last fought in May, when he beat Jared Kilkenny by TKO in the fourth round. “The Bulldozer” has fought in promotions such as ACB and Unified MMA, where he has defeated the likes of Tim Hague, Rakim Cleveland, and Chase Gormley, among others.
Spitz last fought in June of 2018, he was knocked out by Walt Harris in the second round at UFC Fight Night 131. He is currently 1-2 in the promotion with his lone win coming by TKO over Anthony Hamilton.
UFC on ESPN 6 goes down on Oct. 18 at TD Garden and is headlined by a light heavyweight clash between Chris Weidman and Dominick Reyes.
