‘The Ultimate Fighter 24’ Flyweight Cast to Feature Champions from Various Promotions

The flyweight cast for “The Ultimate Fighter 24” has been revealed, and everyone in the group has experience wearing championship gold.

The UFC revealed the 16-man cast on Tuesday. The flyweights, all of whom are champions in their current organization, will be seeded from No. 1 to No. 16 and coached by former 125-pound title challengers Joseph Benavidez and Henry Cejudo.

The finalists of the tournament will square off to determine who receives a shot at the flyweight title at the “TUF 24” finale in December. Meanwhile, Benavidez and Cejudo will lock horns in the evening’s co-main event.

“TUF 24” will premiere on Aug. 31 at 10 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1 and airs over the course of 12 episodes. The cast notably includes a couple of UFC veterans in Legacy FC king Damacio Page and Titan FC ruler Tim Elliott.
