'The Ultimate Fighter' Season 14 Finale to Air Live on FX in U.K.

Season 14 of “The Ultimate Fighter” -- including the live finale -- will be broadcast on Fox-owned cable network FX in the United Kingdom.

UFC director of communications Dave Sholler announced the news during Wednesday's “TUF 14” media conference call. FX's broadcast of the live season finale on Dec. 3 will mark the first time the UFC has aired a live event on basic cable in the U.K.

Featuring a middleweight conflict between coaches Michael Bisping (pictured) and Jason "Mayhem" Miller, the finale will emanate from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Though no other contests have been announced for the event, the show will crown both featherweight and bantamweight “TUF” winners for the first time in the series' history.

Season 14 marks the last installment of the show that will be featured on Spike TV in the United States. The UFC recently announced a seven-year broadcast deal with Fox Network, and FX will be the new home of both “The Ultimate Fighter” and the live “Fight Night” series in the coming years.

Season 14 debuts on Spike at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, and the two-hour season premiere will feature every preliminary bout in its entirety. The show will air at 11 p.m. on FX UK.
